Beat the Staff Rundown Game

This is ALWAYS A BLAST!

​Instructions:

  • Players are the runners
  • Coaches/Parents are defensively positioned at 1st base, 2nd base, shortstop, and pitcher. 
  • Runners are told to be picked off at first base and get into a run down. 
  • Can the runners beat the coaches by taking an extra base???

​Variations:

  • Sub players out at positions. Tell them to circle back after they throw the ball (like we teach in our drills)
  • Switch coaches and players all together. Can the coaches beat the players?!
