Threats to Youth Baseball...

We have researched and advised with dozens of youth baseball organizations. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these organizations are facing a handful of threats. Here is just a few of the more common threats baseball organizations are facing.

  • A severe decline in player participation
  • Players leaving leagues for “select/travel” or “elite” teams
  • Coaches are intimidated to volunteer or quit due to “lack of knowledge” or inability to make practices exciting
  • Revenue shortfall in league; lack of good equipment, travel opportunities, low amount raised selling “candy bars”
  • Contentious Parent - Coach Relationships
  • Organizations do not know where to point their families or coaches!
