Implement a social media policy for coaches, parents, and players?

The best organizations and leagues provide clear parameters on what behavior is tolerated on social media. If your organization and league does not have something in place, then if something were to happen, perception would ultimately be pointed at the very least partially in your direction.

Recommended Action Steps:

• Set specific guidelines on what is acceptable to post and what is not. Once this is established then you can establish a standard to point back to and even build from.
• Give each parent the guidelines at the Parent Meeting
• Give each coach the guidelines at the Coaches Meeting
• Post the guidelines on your website as well
