Coach Baseball Right's founder Steve Nicollerat has created a new experience for 4 to 6 year old children and their parents called Start Baseball Right Youth Program. This program is designed to engage youth players in a quick paced, fundamentally focused 60 minute introductory baseball experience. As teachers, we understand that the best way to engage kids is through planned and scaffolded activities designed to progressively build from previous experiences.
Start Baseball Right Youth Program is not tee ball. No more tees, no more standing around. Kids will have a blast while laying the foundation to learn the game faster! The only similarity between Start Baseball Right and tee ball is the age of the players. In Start Baseball Right, players will learn different parts of the baseball through three separate parts during each session:
- A fundamentals experience
- A quick paced scrimmage geared towards hustle and thinking a play ahead
- A fun-game "snippets" section modeled after sections of a real game
Here's another reason why Start Baseball Right Youth Program is different and unique from other youth baseball programs. During the first two sessions, we teach the coaches the Start Baseball Right drill, an approach to help their child develop personally and athletically, and how to prioritize their child's well-being and development through sports.
Start Baseball Right is really a training program for both players and adults who are considering coaching in the future!
Coach Baseball Right is now offering the following Start Baseball Right Youth Program for 4 to 6 year old children and their parent coach. We ask that when you register your 4 to 6 year old child that you also include a parent who would also serve as a coach. The way our Start Baseball Right Youth Program is structured, each "team" will have a 1 to 1 ratio of kids and parents. A great way to stay involved!

Each registered player will receive:
- Coach Baseball Right Jersey
- Six Start Baseball Right Youth Sessions
Each registered parent coach will receive:
- Access to Coach Baseball Right Individual Pro Membership ($99 value)
- One Parent Coach Training Sessions covering:
- Understand the importance of coaching
- Understand why we coach (the good and bad reasons)
- Understand that we're models for the kids - so they're always watching and learning from our reactions
- Learn the flow, teaching, and management of a Start Baseball Right session with kids participating
- Learn how to set up a good practice with a focus on good pace
- Identify age appropriate expectations of the kids in our Start Baseball Right Youth Program session
- Learn the Start Baseball Right drills and learn how to teach them in sequential scaffolded and progressive manner
- Learn how to scaffold and teach fun games that mirror and help learn the game faster
